Professional Learning Network Registration

Welcome to AISCA’s Professional Learning Networks (PLN). PLNs will meet 3-4 times over the course of the school year and it is our hope, you will attend all sessions for your group in order to build strong professional relationships. Most meetings will be held over zoom and will be about 1 hour in length. Agendas will be sent out prior to each meeting, and you will be asked to supply ideas for discussion for each meeting. Although not every idea can be addressed at each meeting, moderators will do their best to include a variety of topics within the subject area of the group.
AISCA looks to build strong connection between our member schools as well as opportunities for ongoing professional development. To support this, we have developed Professional Learning Network (PLN) groups, that will meet over the course of the school year. PLNs will meet 3-4 times per year, and it is our hope, you will attend all sessions for your group in order to build strong professional relationships. Most meetings will be held over zoom and will be about 1 hour in length.
One of the benefits of being a part of a PLN is that you can explore your own interests, needs, and passions or unique school issues. You might have a student who is struggling with reading, decide you want to learn more about an online learning platform or IPP development, or explore how AI can be effectively used at your school. You can turn to your PLN for advice and support with any professional area you would like to explore as discussion topics will be driven by its members. Prior to each meeting, you will be asked to supply your ideas for discussion. Although not every idea can be addressed at each meeting, moderators will do their best to include a variety of topics within the subject area of the group.
For the 2023-24 school year, AISCA will host 5 different PLN groups.
