Central Alberta Christian High School, located in Lacombe, Alberta, has provided high quality Christian education to grades 10-12 since 1989. The mission of our school is “Transformative education within a Christian Community”, and our vision is “Striving for excellence through Christ”.

We are now accepting applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) high school social studies, english language arts, and/or physical education teacher commencing August 2024. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to fostering academic excellence and spiritual growth for their students. They will inspire students to love learning, guide students to think critically, and walk with students in their spiritual development in alignment with our school’s Christian values.

  • Be able to exhibit and articulate a strong personal faith
  • Have or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate
  • Be able to sign the CACHS Community Lifestyle Agreement
  • Be able to sign the CACHS Statement of Faith and Fidelity
  • Practice strong collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team
  • Be able to confidently teach in a secondary classroom
  • Establish positive working relationships with students, school staff, and families
