Position Overview
Our growing Accredited Funded Independent School is seeking passionate and skilled part-time high school specialty teachers to deliver engaging, rigorous instruction in core academic areas, specifically:
English Language Arts
Social Studies
Mathematics
Biology
Chemistry
Physics
The immediate priority is for instructors able to teach 20-level courses, with a clear trajectory toward 30-level (diploma-level) instruction as student progression continues. Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality, Alberta-curriculum-aligned lessons tailored to small, motivated student groups.
Provide academic support, enrichment opportunities, and formative feedback to students.
Collaborate with fellow educators and school leadership to maintain consistent academic standards.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment.
Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating classroom environment.
Participate in school events, professional development, and planning meetings as appropriate.
