The Father's House Christian School
The Father's House Christian School is committed to providing a high academic standard and traditional family values through both its on-campus school and its home school programs. Since 1985, the staff have assisted parents in the training of their children within a safe and caring environment where they can be taught academics from a biblical worldview. Building character and encouraging strong moral values is of primary importance. MCS is an accredited-funded Independent school that meets the requirements of Alberta Education. Our school augments the curriculum with the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum from K though grade 9. ACE is a self-instructional, mastery-based curriculum used in over 7,000 schools worldwide. Students work at their own rate mastering the material in the various academic disciplines as they progress. One of the results of training in ACE is a proficiency in setting daily and long-term goals and the development of a strong work ethic. The high school students, designated as home educators, use equivalent and transferable education programs, most of which have a biblical world perspective. Students, ages 14 and up, participate in an annual international student convention held in the month of May where they compete against other students from across North America. Events include writing, photography, athletics, music, visual art, multi-media, speech/drama and carpentry.
